As a creative designer at the University of Michigan’s Digital Scholarship Studio, I partnered with faculty and researchers across disciplines to translate complex academic content into meaningful digital experiences. Using tools like Figma, WordPress, and Omeka S, I applied product design principles — such as user research, iterative prototyping, and content structure — to develop websites, interactive archives, digital exhibits, and 3D experiences.
My work focused on creating accessible, engaging platforms that support scholarly communication, public outreach, and long-term sustainability. Each project involved not just visual execution, but strategic thinking around how design can serve diverse academic audiences and storytelling goals.
